ModularUK is the preferred supplier to many private and public sector organisations throughout the UK. Applications include admin and office facilities, hospitality suites, retail outlets, ‘value’ hotel and MOD accommodation. We specialise in the manufacture of ‘instant’ accommodation for many of the UK’s largest construction companies, providing office and site welfare for the crews working on new build projects. These temporary units are supplied to both single and multi-storey configurations, all to our exacting high standards within a short lead-time.
1. Worcester Rugby Football Club
With promotion to the rugby union Premiership, visitor levels rose, as did the need for additional facilities. ModularUK provided 30 bays for a 2-storey building incorporating conference and meetings rooms, a hospitality suite with bar area and dance floor, viewing gallery and full-length balcony with timber decking. The exterior finish is in highly durable plastisol steel.
2. EuroCentral Business Park, Glasgow
EuroCentral is the location for a new £25 million printing plant – one of three being build for News International by principal contractors, Carrillion. ModularUK has supplied the 2-storey site welfare and office facility to Alfred McAlpine plc, which in turn has hired the building to Carrillion for the two-year construction programme. The 18 bays, built to a tight budget, were delivered on site with full factory fit-out and took just 12 weeks from order to installation.
3. Lincoln University
This 4-storey administration block is made up of 80 steel framed modules giving an area of 2800 square metres. The full internal fit-out, including WC facilities, was completed prior to installation. The modules were delivered on site ready for the distinctive exterior cladding to be applied by the specialist contractor to match the surroundings of this modern university campus.
