1. Kings Mill Hospital, Sutton in Ashfield
As part of the complete hospital redevelopment, ModularUK provided a new Day Care Centre comprising 38 modules that were constructed in a 12-week build programme. The purpose built facility provides same day surgery and extended day surgery for up to 26 patients and incorporates reception and waiting areas, stores, day wards plus overnight en-suite wards, consulting and treatment rooms, nurses’ station and minor ops theatre.
2. Southport & Ormskirk NHS Trust
In excess of 100 bays were supplied and installed for this 2-storey building with both clinical and administration functions. The ground floor is an open plan working area of over 2000 square metres with supporting columns at 10 metre intervals. The upper floor houses a full operating suite with prep areas and recovery ward. It was a complex projects in terms of M&E and meets full HTM criteria. Working with the specialist operating theatre fit out contractor, it took just 16 weeks from order to delivery and a further 16 weeks on site to completion.
3. Kendray Hospital, Barnsley NHS Trust
Our single storey system provided fast track construction of urgently needed additional office space and staff facilities within a tight budget. The external finish was of particular importance since the hospital sits within a conservation area and the new facility had to match surrounding buildings.
